>>12304075I've seen some docs on that topic, not that I can trust those sources, but the video I've seen of Ghanese is that it seems obvious why West Africans were prized slaves. The workers love to just harvest and sort the crop, chatting jovially, then the government comes in and rips them off. Might not even be a bad existence except for their massive overpopulation. Won't be fun fighting rivals for the best coconuts. They really need to be managed.
