Some thots are trying to dismiss the app as fake news by saying that it just makes everyone ugly, period. This is not true. There are plenty of examples of truly beautiful women that still look good through the filter (Taylor Swift, Emma Roberts, Charlize Theron, etc) and all the men that go through the filter look the same (hell, it even removes Trump's spray-tan and leaves everything else the same). There have also been examples of women posting photos of themselves without makeup to see how they compare to the app, and it checks out.
