Maria's door was as always, open for visitors, with the smell of apple and cinnamon tea hanging from the somewhat cramped office, just enough to hold three people, 4 if they were a bit smaller. So with Maria and Nico in the same office, things were getting juuust a bit cramped already.
The place was even more of a mess then usual, with letters, magazines littered all over her desk, the family picture on the wall hanging slightly crooked, the desk itself coated with empty packets of aspirin.
Maria stands looking out of the window, a cup of tea in her hands, staring forward absentmindedly until Nico knocked on her door, the intercontinental champion instantly sizing up Nico, one of the few woman that could actually stand up to her when it came to the size of the chest department. She was half expecting someone to walk through the door to challenge for the title.
>"Ah, Miss Katz, surprised to see you here, come in, would you like some tea?"
Maria offered, motioning to the somehow always freshly brewed kettle of tea before sitting down to hear Nico's case, leaning back into her chair afterwards.
>"Ah, so you're worried about the wellbeing of the referee. These things happen hun, I wouldn't be too worried about it. Sure our referees are made out of glass, but it's the kind of glass that re-knits itself when being dumped into warm water, it's quite fascinating to see. The referee is fine hun. Though if you're apologizing to him, I can send him a bouqet of flowers and a get well soon note in your name."
Maria explained the situation, pulling up an X-ray of the referee after the incident, and indeed the referee's bones were seemingly made completely out of glass.
