It was really good. It had to be a rye and molasses cake, but it went great with what toppings I could get; fresh fruit, ice cream, etc. Pic related.

But I think my favorite what the rye & molasses pancakes topped with custard and fresh berries. I took no pictures of that, but it made for a thick and fluffy pancake.

Last picture, but this is the cake with the toppings. I used the last of the whipping cream on the lohikeitto so we made do with ice cream and strawberries for an american twist.

The Finns aren't known for their cuisine and I don't know why, because I think I appreciate it a lot.
