nobody is excited to see american shitty infrastructure as they drive to work every day and it was built with technology unavailable to the medieval era. Just goes to show that see muh trees and muh grass and getting to know the smell of rotting corpses after a battle once in a while isnt what its all cracked up to be
medieval peasants wokeup, got to work on the estate they worked on, had a drink of alcohol with their buddies at the end of the day, and once in a while got to travel if they wanted to.
A tiny spec in the grand scheme of things, maybe their child was taken at some age to be trained in military service or not
