Nobody has them and employers don’t give a fuck about them, all they care about is experience. Literally worked with a guy who could hardly read in both his native language (Spanish) let alone in English, had to help him navigate the company computer all the time because he was completely computer illiterate. Never repaired anything to any sort of standard, Some stuff was good. Other stuff was not much better than when it came in or arguably worse. Made about 10 times the money I did all because he had 30 years experience. So I can confirm if you have the experience you can go anywhere and call the all shots. The question is Are you willing to put in the 30 years, even if you hate it? Because I can tell you this guy fucking hated it, told me all the time about how much he hate it. But hey, at least he made half of what our department manager, who was half his age, made.
