>>4393522>>4393552It's all good, he wasn't a great friend after his mom started doing that shit. I don't blame him at all, he had a really rough home life. I found much better friends after we stopped talking that changed my life and encouraged me to do better. Now I'm achieving dreams I thought were impossible because I was surrounded by good people who inspired me to compete and better myself. So my side of the story has a pretty good ending I guess. Sometimes I still reflect on the days when we were friends, I was young like 2nd grade and I used to walk through the woods to get to his house. I knew the path like the back of my hand, I still remember the fallen log I would have to hop over. Somedays I wouldn't even call I would just walk and knock to see if he was around. It's nostalgic but I have no bitter feelings.
