Think logically about it for a minute. If you get any object and move it away from you it gets smaller and smaller until it disappears as you're no longer able to resolve an image and it blurs into the background.
All high magnification cameras, telescopes, etc. do is go beyond your natural limitations but they too are hard limited by their size which is why everyone wants a bigger telescope. Fact is but they cannot see forever. Seeing to infinity is utter insanity to even consider as being possible.
The stars are not light years away and the fact that they look like dots in the heavens instead of there being nothing due to the inverse square law alone should be all the proof you really need.
