>>12134424i liked band a lot, definitely was my favorite part of middle and high school. that's where all the boys were at and i was really quite good at it. place in regional level competitions every year from 7th grade until i graduated, and placed in state level ones 3 times though i didn't end up actually going the third time. just ended up dropping it because i didn't plan on doing anything with music professionally and it was so insanely expensive/time consuming as a hobby
if i remember correctly high school here includes algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus depending where you started. i didn't do great in precalculus and was really starting to develop the peak of my sleep problems at that point so i figured i couldn't be assed to do calculus, especially since i knew the remedial math teacher was a bro who would give me work for the day when i walked in the door and let me sleep once i finished them
