>>13800757A few years ago I was into reading philosophy books and was much more of a rational-minded person, but I was always at doubt about many things. I never really believed that what any one philosopher said was the absolute, perfect interpretation of the universe, only that it was their way of explaining how they thought of it. I understand moving away from materialism because not everything can be understood solely through observed material causes, but then again, I can't imagine what the universe must be conceived as being if it were not to be thought of as matter. I've read a few religious texts, but I never saw them as anything more than texts from different time periods and cultures that expound upon their respective cultures' mindset and worldview. The few friends I had who were into discussing philosophy were rather mild in regards to their opinions. Psychedelic music just sounds funny to me.
I've never taken psychedelics, but I don't know if it's worth the risk.
