(1/2)*g=4.9, should be easily noticable.
If it were trajectory calculations it would have been obvious. Also, how the fuck would he have been able to measure the necessary -6.9 degrees angle? He wouldnt, he would have had to shoot and adjust and the calculations would be meaningless.
