i don't think they do, most can't compete in terms of skill and their customers are small fries who can't afford paying more for the people employed in the industry anyway. it's not that the people who are freelancers are dumb or anything, it's just that working on a higher level and with fewer, higher paying customers gives you more of a chance to refine your skills. if all you had to do was tranlsate contracts or set up wordpress sites all day, of course you wouldn't be as skilled as someone who has to translate many varied texts or code more complicated things.
sounds good, i don't know how translation work works in america so it's possible. just don't make too many plans for the future right now and wait to see how this corona thing PANs out heheh
