>>6095517Yes, through evolution we may be able to perceive things we can't now, it would take a long time I imagine. When you see the colour "red" you actually see a symbol for the colour that your brain has constructed. Aside from that, if you're looking at a red rose it's not actually red, it's every color *but* red. The rose reflects red light while taking in all the other colours. It's everything it appears not to be. Now if you were a snake or some creature that sees a different spectrum, it would look entirely different and it would go as far as meaning you feel different emotions while looking at things. Red is associated with blood, and thus the heart, war, violence, fatality and passion. Green is associated with tranquility and fertility because of greenery. Black is associated with fear and darkness because of the night. The mind subconsciously recalls past experiences as we perceive the world, and it's from what Jung called the collective unconscious that we draw these symbols up from. That's why artists paint according to different palettes to create different moods in the images they construct, and why different countries might choose a certain colour for their flag.
Sorry for the long ramble to a short question. I hope I don't sound pretentious and cringe, I just don't want to be ambiguous. I'm done posting now but I want to leave you with this image. IIRC it's electricity sent through a piece of glass. Just look at the pattern and then down at your arms, then go for a walk and look at some trees. I could ramble for hours about patterns in nature but it's better to just go see for yourself.
