>>2566053I am not sure if you could actually pull this off. The brain can be reimprinted, yes, but normally that would be still within the confines of what genetics allows it to, that part of the brain still has a predetermined function (sexuality/morality) so it still has to be something that the brain can recognize as "sexual".
ie: you can purge your masturbophilia, pedophilia, homosexuality, transexuality or whatever other distasteful fetish and overwrite it by re-imprinting it *with another sexual preference*. You could acquire other fetishes like ephebophilia or you could consciously choose what your "type" of woman is. People tends to be attracted to whatever their first sexual experience was, and having sex after that long period of celibacy has a similar rewiring effect.
At least that's as far as the theory goes. Of course the brain can sexualize all kinds of weird shit though so you'd have lots of room to try what you're suggesting.
In fact, it is a very interesting coincidence that most of the biggest geniuses of human history were and died virgins and were absolutely celibates throughout most if not all of their lives. Sir Isaac Newton, Nikola Tesla and etc. are good examples. They could have done (accidentally, as most imprints happen randomly) that which you suggest and dedicate themselves to these tasks they excelled in with a determination as strong as that of the sexual urge.
