I just let my beard and hair grow to 3cm and keep it around there. Even if the UV index isn't looking good, I still don't wear a hat, I just put SPF 50+ on the top of my bald head and go from there.
I find women wearing hats incredibly hot though. Anime women with green hair, a haughty attitude, and a large witch hat seems to be my current fetish for 2024.
