>>13334485>Why do you believe in God?I feel Him in my heart. I bear witness to the power of prayer.
>What is it about Christianity that appeals to you so much over every other religion or spiritual practice?I have tried different things. I was raised catholic, became deist, dabbled in agnosticism and became pagan for a few years. I came back to Christ because invoking Him would cleanse my heart and soul.
>Is there more proof it's the one true religion? That Jesus actually existed? Or do you accept it is largely because of your geography, place in time and your parents influence? Some find solace in the Bible as being an authoritative source, as proof. The Bible could not exist and my faith would be the same had the stories been passed down orally. As for the question about nurture over nature, my upbringing should have instead made me agnostic. It is incredibly easy to criticize Christians as hypocrites and such. I grew into my teens finding most Christians to be illogical and overly defensive about their faith. This led me to believe that the Christianity itself was a lie. I was completely wrong. We are all sinners, and I do not hold contempt for the misdeeds and shortcomings of my Christian brothers and sisters. We are all working through what we must as according to God's plan.
>What have you actually gotten out of this belief? When I dropped Christianity I slowly became more depressed, anxious, chaotic... it was only until after I started to pray and beg Jesus Christ for mercy that the demons that were holding me down were cast away and my soul was purified and uplifted.
If you go into the faith expecting results then you're doing it wrong. That being said, After my reconversion I have not had to fap at all. My propensity for lust has immensely diminished and in doing so I have gained confidence with women. If it's according to God's will, I shall have a wife of good nature to have my children.
