>>13572465Gnosticism was a proto-Christianity, and Enoch is referenced in the Holy Bible. There are direct links to Christianity. Valentinian Gnosticism is the proper form of Gnostic Christianity, in my opinion. Valentinus believed that Yaldaboath wasn't "evil", but instead was only ignorant. And that the God of the New Testament is the enlightened God. To me this explains the two very different versions of God between the Old and New testament. It's as if God suffered ego death, which very well may have been the case, with Jesus Christ being the catalyst. A being believing themselves to be perfect experiences imperfection and is shaken to the core.
As I said, I prescribe to Valentinian Gnosticism. The Ignorance = Evil and Knowledge = Good aspect lured me in. "There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance.' - Socrates
