I always liked the concept behind the Death Guard - juggernauts that slowly roll over everything in their path while absorbing enough damage that would kill another space marine, the masters of the slow brutal warfare of attrition. The emphasis on cold functionality to the point where they were the only legion to not decorate their armour, going into the fight with bare steel plate, save for green shoulders/trim. Also being devoted to Papa Nurgle always is a fun time.
Too bad they don't have too much lore to them, they could use some loving.
