>>10046164Yes, I was in the petroleum industry. There are a lot of ways in, subsea engineering is super multidisciplinary. If you want to go into drilling you'll want a petroleum degree. EE, Aerospace, Mechanical and Ocean Engineering are also good ins depending on what you want to do. I was an installation / controls guy.
That being said don't do it, going offshore fucking sucks.
