you do realise that fertility =/= reproduction
why are humans the only mamal species that has permament mammaries (aka the tits)
even if girls were with genetic conditions that made their bossom grow it wasn't the sign of fertility but rather the sign of infertility as it would indicate the woman is gestating or has given birth recently, not only in our evolutionary path was there a mutated set of females that grew breasts without being pregnant in the first place there was also a set of sexual deviants that were into it to get them pregnant, and pass on the genes- but that's not all that sexual deviancy was so widespread that sure enough large breasts became a near dominant feature in almost all hominid species
and by large I mean as big as symnetry would allow it as even the cavemen back then had appreciation for nice tits over gnarly saggy and asimetrical overproportioned tits

birth control has been around for millenia, a specie of umbeliferous (apiaceous) plant went extinct because it was so good in inducing abortions that people used it to extinction- people sometimes want sex without wanting the reproduction result if the child
