well it's simultaneous because there's a sort of "planning phase" where everyone decides what they're going to do with their next 10 AP, then it all happens at the same time.
for example if there's a 3 person combat a turn could look like this where person A spends 4 AP moving, 6 shooting, person B spends 6 shooting, 4 running, and person C spends 3 running, 4 stabbing, then 3 more running.
so person A and C start out by running while person B is lining up a shot, then C stabs someone at the same time B shoots his shot and they both run for a bit while A lines up and shoots his shot
the key point then is to just know it'll be as much of a tabletop game as d&d is, just maybe missing a book that actually explains how to play since there's no reason for me to write one if everyone who learns to play will do it from me explaining it to them directly anyway
