>>23356640this is actually bullshit. even though lions are apex preditors of Africa, there are several different animals that could kill a lion. femal lions are not strong enough to kill hyenas, crocadiles, buffalo, tigers, rhinos, elephants. ect ect ect. so the roles Male lions play in the relationship is actually still a tougher role, becuase female lions hunt more easier to kill prey while male lions are tasked with protecting the pride.
its a split responsibility amoungst the group, but ultimately male lions are not frail weaklings. they serve their greater purpose.
