>>11372089He showed Godly sorrow, realizing he was a sinner in need of a savior. God gave him grace and mercy for his contrition. If he had survived and back to thievery, he would have probably ended up in hell.
"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. "
>>11372093You are wrong. Don't tell me you believe in Jesus but don't believe his words or his apostles.
There are certains sins that will exclude you from inheriting the Kingdom of God, Paul wrote about them in Galatians 5:19-21
"The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; 20idolatry and sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions, 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that -------->those who practice such things will *not inherit the kingdom of God.*"<--------------------
In the first epistle to the Corinthians, Apostle Paul was writing to -->Christians/Believers<--. He warned them that if they practice specific sins, they would not be allowed to inherit the Kingdom of God. He was NOT writing to unbelievers. Paul himself kept his body/flesh under subjection, lest he be counted as a CASTAWAY!
The Bible tells us those who PRACTICE (aka works) rightousness is rightous like Christ, but those who practice sin is of the DEVIL!
"Little children, --->let no one deceive you<---(Like OSAS or steven heretic anderson): The one who -->practices righteousness is righteous, just as Christ is righteous.<--- 8The one who ->practices sin<- is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil. 9Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God"
If you go on sinning, you are probably not born again.
