>>5224413Native 1st world workers should recognize that there is only one group that oppresses everyone; the bourgeoisie.
When it comes to rich 1st world countries like America, which has pillaged 3rd world countries for corporate and geopolitical interest, what other choice do these immigrants have? Stay in their destroyed country (El Salvador, Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, Iraq, and so many more territories that were leveled for petty capitalist reasons) and get killed, or immigrate to where all the wealth is concentrated? Mind you, this wealth came from the pillaging of 3rd world countries, a great example being the UK’s colonization of India.
If you, a worker, don’t want to compete over a slice of bread, get rid of the asshole who’s hoarding the loaf you’ve baked. Don’t fall for the bourgeoisie’s attempts of scapegoating immigrants.
>>5224439Read my post again. The creators were inspired by the money, sure, but not just money. It is not capitalistic at all to profit off the success of your own creation since it is entirely your labor, but it is capitalistic for a company to take the thing you have created and give you a measly percentage of its revenue while they hoard most of it, even though they did literally nothing to deserve the wealth your intellectual property has generated.
I genuinely don’t understand why you’re arguing against an economic model that works in your favor, anon. Warner Bros. executive doesn’t deserve any profit that Scooby Doo has made as a brand, the animators and writers who made it into such a beloved animation series deserve all of it.
