If a giant chunk of frozen alien poop from one of those Independence Day motherships accidentally takes out the whole building, everything keeps running seamlessly. Every soul in there has a backup. The newly appointed could hold votes over Zoom if necessary, should the shaman successfully declare a new republic confined to the building, and the international community chooses to recognise it. Is the larp necessary? Is it even fun? None of this was ever particularly interesting, even as it was going down.
