He then runs off sad to the rest of our friend group, and they convince him that she strung him along and manipulated his feelings on person and that she's secretly an evil witch who takes pleasure at his orbiting her.
In reality Angela was just incredibly autistic and never understood how obvious it was Frank liked her. I refused to take a position on this, and when combined with a smaller argument I had with Frank, they threw me out and started doing the same thing to me, making up all sorts of lies.
They're online friends so it's not as much sweat off my back, but it still blows. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest. Can't exactly talk about it with the people I normally would.
