Alaskan Coastal and Kodiak brown bears can and do interbreed with Polar Bears. Injured or enraged brown bears develop malice, and they will tear you down to your crushed bones just out of spite. They get ornry on you.
Large Kodiak males go up to 1,200 pounds, and yeah they are Round Bois but under that blubber and fur is 900lb of thick skeletal system and slabs of muscle the smallest of which are the size of an Offensive Gaurd's thighs.
They have explosive rip speed all over their body.
They can shake their 125lb head as fast as a terrier.
Their claws are 6" long and can rip through ribs like venetian blinds.
Their bite force is in the 2,000+ lb range.
There is absolutely no question whatsoever that an Alaskan Brown or Polar Bear are the dominant land beasts, they shred all comers like they don't exit. Perhaps the largest and fiercest Tigers might injure a bear but they will all be bear food in the end.
