>>23521151I have been getting my ass kicked hard by the archers in dw3/xl as they are the most powerful they are in any of the games and are to be feared in large numbers. even 3 or 4 of them spread out can fuck you up on high difficulty and stages. and I have a bunch of other old games in rotation and have been playing the crap out of the other dynasty warrior games also on ps2 along with some romance of the 3 kingdoms games in msdos (rotk1 is alot better than I knew). been looking at some game boy and color games and a few systems like game gear and lynx and finding stuff to check out. playing old games and comparing them to modern as you said is wild. even these basic text and ansi bbs door games seem to have more solid design and mechanics in its bare bones stuff compared to some modern games. its interesting to be reminded so hard playing older stuff and new stuff how much the industry has changed.
