ya sure why not.
the reason i deleted it was for space i think, cause i very rarely open the game. i dont think i even needed the space i had 90 gigs free, its just that i still felt like i needed to free up space for some reason. maybe because of windows flashing the drive red
and even then cs:s is only like 2 gigs or something afaik so whats really the point in getting rid of it i dont know
it kinda deserved it though. cs source is annoying. i dont know why but it just refuses to run any good on my pc, i can barely get over 30 fps if im in a server with any players, and still terrible frames if its a map thats even a little too big.
ive tried on numerous occasions to play zombies in it with friends but i just couldnt really because of terrible it ran lol so ive a grudge against cs:s. even now id hop on to that gamemode if i could, its rly good. i dont enjoy the classic one where u hold out much but zombie escape is pretty good shit.
i really have no idea what the cause for the issue is. its not like my laptop is so bad that it cant run cs:s, i can run pretty much any other source game just fine, or well at least much better than cs:s. and cs:s isnt really anything that pushes source to its limits or anything, its pretty barebones. if you can run half life 2 you should be able to run cs:s.
but somehow my laptop just cant. ive done troubleshooting and couldnt find anything about why its like this, so idk ive just given up.
so because of all that pretty much the only thing i can play in cs:s is climb maps. bhop/surf feels too boring to me, if i wanted something like that id just open tf2 and play some jump.
climb is good for me still because of how relaxing it is. turning my brain off with something nice in the background as i casually try to do the jumps, idk its just really nice, and it also has a lot to do with the map itself, some just have nice scenery which makes it really comfy (its a gay word but im using it whatever) to play in.
