The distances are too great for any chance of us reaching any planet that has the possibility of inhabiting intelligent life, if an intelligent alien species launched a mission to our solar system millions of years ago with artificial intelligence on board then that is within the realms of possibility that we could encounter at least the legacy of biological beings.
Within our own solar system it's possible there may be a trilobite or similar living in the oceans of Europa but more likely a primitive bacteria that's about it.
If we do encounter them it would be wise to do so from a distance as there's a chance we would be extremely vulnerable to what they would consider a common cold, as would be the danger to them...
