Assange comes to mind. Whether the guy is really trying to defect or not, the American people were sold a pack of lies. They could have just said he was wanted for tax evasion and there would have been no way for The Internet to disprove that, but someone wanted to trot out their new GAN system and impress someone, very hubristic.
