>>16356095Humu humu according to crinmge iramqi's worldview i thinmk it is inevitable for the regime to be hated or opposed by the persian peoples because these people were more liberal than most euroean countries before the shah was overthrown, france for some reason decided to support khomeini and help him overthrow the shah despite that the "islamic revolution" was only small protests, and khomeini gave his speech throughout audiotapes, he couldnt even face his people before the shah left iran
What i want to get to is that forcing theocracy on persians, especially islamic theocracy, would end up with bad results, and it will eventually fall ig, it gave them nothing but sanctions and high gas prices with a pathetically low currency, for me personally i am not a liberal but i also do not appreciate what is so called "islamic internationalism" because i feel attached to my language, culture and race, esecially language, so, a democratic system with traditionalists leading it wouldn't be a bad idea, i like being able to curse the authority
I do not know about the future of this revolution, but the iranian government used two methods to stop it:
-Counter-protest to suport the regime
-pushing extremist liberal ideas in the protests, like burning the hijab, this would make conservative iranians and many others who just want the system to fall not participate in the protest, but i think it is still going strong, as i said people are sick of the system, who knows, maybe if they got UN support(which i doubt) they will establish a democratic system
