"The Wall" refers to a difference between men and women. It's a physical difference in how we age (men have more collagen, etc) and a psychological difference in how each gender perceives attractiveness in the other.
What men find attractive in women is almost entirely youth and fertility. Thus, a woman losing that as she ages is losing her attractiveness.
What women find attractive in men is a long (very long) list of things, many of which do not change as he ages ...and some of which actually improve with age (example: money, social status, competence, confidence, life experience, and many more).
For fuck's sake, even scars make men more attractive!!
so yes, both men and women age. But no, age doesn't affect us in the same way. that's what "The Wall" means. It specifically means something that happens to women.
