Back when I used to be a kid, I used to often have dreams about dragons, time machines, witches, featuring me interacting with cartoon characters, but nowadays I only have dreams featuring people whom I remember I've met somewhere, or featuring stuff I've done in real life. I often have dreams where I'm reading manga or novels, and I sometimes have daydreams while I'm awake featuring me along with 2D girls, or me as a soldier in a battlefield, but then again, whenever I'm having daydreams, I usually have to decide what's gonna happen where, whereas in my dreams, stuff just happens on its own. Even if I'm aware that I'm in a dream (usually because of some odd details, like non-existing words in a newspaper), I never have the feeling of being in control of my own actions or over anything in my environment.
