Yahweh is a fictional character and the entire Moses story never happened.
God is the very real designed of the universe who wrote the laws that rule it. God did this for a reason; everything happens for a reason. Which means there is an ultimate goal the universe is set to archieve.
The way life works is the way it's gonna archieve this goal. By surviving, evolving, adapting and getting stronger.
God will get what it wants regardless as we, as integral parts of its design, lack the ability to go against its will. Even if humanity fails to bring about the final cause another species will. But we must make it so we're the ones to do it. We must make it so the instance of life that lives to reach and understand the meaning of life is us.
