He's pretty far left, but he's never openly mocked and complained about people's political beliefs before, at least not so openly, it's suddenly an US vs THEM thing and he brings that shit up every time I'm forced to interact with him.
Thankfully most of the rest of my family is somewhere between "fuck all these lockdowns and mandates and especially fuck Biden" and "heeeeyyyy wait a second, isn't it illegal to force your own citizens to take vaccines against their will?"
