If you want to satiate you need to eat high protein foods like meat, eggs, or even some (preferably pure unsweetened) whey powder.
The absolute optimum for weight loss is fasting. I've done 10 day water fasts before and been perfectly fine (just took some electrolytes with my water on some days) but couldn't vouch for any longer as never went any longer personally. Even single day fasts (i.e. OMAD - One meal a day (one eating window a day followed by 23 hour fasts every day)) can be great cause your appetite gets used to it and stops being hungry, then you just cram your 1500 calories into your 1 hour eating window and it's ez, compared to eating all throughout the day which makes you hungry as hell.
