in fact moral relativism is about letting criminals go free since they are merely the result of genetics, upbringing & environment, they could not have chosen otherwise to stab or not to stab their victim, its all just the dance of atoms & the tides of brain-chemistry. just because many individuals are well behaved & do not feel the urge naturally to harm others doesnt make it fair to punish those who organically feel inclined to do so.
