MBPTI identifies polarities and categorizes people according to those. Obviously does not work on people who are right "in between", but those people are few. Saying that MBPTI is invalid is saying that these polarities are invalid which is obviously not the case.
You don't even need to take a stupid test, just look at the diagram and pick the side that more accurately describes you.
