funny you would be thinking about generations, that was the first thing my mom asked me about when i woke up, she listed off a few of the generational buzzwords, millennial, alpha, boomer, asked me for others. i told her she was missing the silent and greatest. she seemed puzzled when i said that, like she didn't get it. i repeated myself. it didn't take. i just gave her a second and she seemed to accept the answer. i'm not going to press her mind. it's ok if she doesn't understand.
