There is a void in you and I can promise you, only Jesus can fill it. But you must seek Him.
Think of your lovely mother and know, all faithful Christians inherit the kingdom of heaven. I know you love her and I know she'll want to see you again. You seem intelligent so you know well that, if you really want to know the truth, you'll go to the source. More important than your intelligence is the love in your heart and you know; you know you want to be with her. So for a time, I beseech you, approach this gate with patience, calm and humility. Seek the truth earnestly and you will find it.
Go to the book of John and read it. I recommend the King James translation if your old English is good but, NIV, ESV, LSB... these translations will serve you well.
Within book of John, along with Mark, Matthew and Luke, you will witness four depictions and recordings of Jesus' ministry and life on earth.
Approach any of these books, which are found in the New Testament, and think of your mum. Set aside your burning questions for a time and being still. Let the love for your mum burn brighter. This will humble your spirit and when pride is no longer an obstacle, know the truth is close. I pray you will hear.
