Every obnoxious rule, inconvenience and circumstance exists because a handful of shitty people necessitate it. The sheer amount that people are capable of if they stow their whining and bust ass for a few years is staggering, yet nobody does it.
Look up the Rajneeshpuram. They were a religious cult in the 80s and had pic related built and paid for within a year. Their purpose in life was to hard and expand the material and political influence of the group. Within four years they had built hundreds of houses, had an airport with four aircraft, and so much other shit. They were easily identifiable by their dress, and employers absolutely loved hiring them because of their effort levels.
People would rather cry about things and prolong their suffering than just get the shit done. I will never understand it.
