Seriously considering converting to Christianity because, as I learn more about it, I’m beginning to see that it perfectly aligns with world views and beliefs that I developed independent of religion. But, I still don’t really know much about Christianity, so I have some questions. Mainly:
>Which parts of modern scientific consensus are denied by (Non-retarded) Christians? Any of them? One of the main things I’m discovering is a total lie is that Christians are science deniers, but I’m still not clear on how untrue it is.
>How does God interact with our world? Another big shift in perspective for me was realizing that things having a natural explanation does not exclude the possibility of God’s influence as God might work through natural causality (he’s the one who set everything in motion afterall, makes sense it would all serve a master plan) rather than divine intervention, but he IS often depicted doing the latter and rarely ever the former, so what’s up with that?
