Problem is at that time Hebrew was a dead language going through a revival. The Hebrew Masoretic texts where translated from Greek by the Masoretes - the remnants of Edom. They made sure to scrub their old testament of any books and passages that connected Edom to modern Talmudic Jewry. 95% of all modern bibles use their books and translation. This includes The KJV.

In around 285 BC the Old Testament was translated into Koine Greek from the Phoenician language by the 72 Israelite (not Jewish) priests for the great library in Alexandria (which eventually was destroyed).
