>>17172580i get called, doc asks me some questions, i answer, after a couple minutes he's like "alright go ahead and sit back down, you'll get called to the back in a few hours" and in my mind of course i'm thinking how could this possibly be acceptable when i am still bleeding but i didnt say anything, i just said ok and sat back down, not long after i sat back down the doc walked over to me and whispers "you're bleeding through your pants, we'll get you back as soon as possible" and handed me a big pad to sit on, then i was thinking good i am now prioritized for my very serious active bleeding thank you, some other people get called but then i hear my name so i get up and walk over and the nurse said she'll be taking my blood and then i asked "oh so i'm not going back yet?" and she said "no" so they took 3 samples and then i sat back down which at the time i was pretty annoyed but thinking back i guess it's good to have blood tests done as soon as possible if a patient is actively internally bleeding, more people get called and after about an hour i finally get called back, the nurse hooks me up to all the machines, 15 minutes later the doctor arrives and i talk with him, he checks my butt and says yeah that is a lot of blood, 20 minutes after that he returns and offers me two options, the first which is his personal recommendation is to stay overnight and prep for a colonoscopy in the morning, the second is since i'm otherwise a perfectly healthy strong young man i could just go home, "if i go home wouldnt i still be bleeding?", he said yes and i forget how he elaborated afterwards but regardless i chose the first option because i am actively and i would like to stop bleeding, then the nurse comes back and prepares everything for the colonoscopy, i get a 4 liter jug of special juice and a "bedside commode" which is just a chair with a hole in the middle to shit and piss and a bin connected underneath to catch the shit and piss, charlim
