Most fortune 500 companies are organized with a top-own approach and as long as they remain the most profitable companies I doubt that will be changing any time soon. I know there are other models, something like a co-op or a collective where the employees own an equal share, but those are the minority and they aren't exceptionally profitable. Maybe once a company like that becomes worth billions we will start to see a change

There's always hope I suppose. It just seems like with things like BLM people will be too focused on other divisions rather than the ones that are really important. At least you can be happy that you are better off over there
