it does remind me i've started going through the effort of herding random retards to do raids in wow because it's better than letting myself be herded. it continues to blow my mind how entitled every person is.
like i don't know if you remember me talking about a 30 tank strategy that works right now, but i ran one of those groups and it only works because of an interaction between 2 specific items so if you don't have both then you're literally detracting from the group by being there. i would list the group telling people to show that they have the items, then some people would apply without the items and get pissed when i tell them to fuck off. like in their mind how does it make any sense that they personally should be the only one getting a free ride? it's not even a case that they can think they're so good that it doesn't matter. without the two items it is literally impossible for them to contribute in the slightest.
that's some really weird shit. i guess it probably just seems bad because they're using the same term in a different but similar way.
