idk, shepherds i guess? they make villages in the weirdest places. one time i was on a hike and i went up a steep heavily forested hill on a narrow path and i came out into a clearing with maybe 10 abandoned collapsing houses and pens. it was fairly recent too, maybe 30 or 40 years old at most. it was weird. the trail markings ended there too. there were three or four exits out of the clearing so i didn't know which way i was supposed to go so i went back.

the next day i tried a different trail and i met an old boomer who said he used to work in something like the forest service or idk. he got upset when i told him the marking was gone because the current people in his former work were supposed to maintain it. he also said that every couple of years some mushroom picker gets lost in that direction and dies. glad i'm not dead.

it is what it is. i'd actually never had baked potatoes before i decided to make them for him because they seemed too pleb tier for me to bother with, but they're actually pretty good.

so he gets exercise then. he'll lose weight in no time. what kind of neighbourhood do you live in if you don't mind me asking? is it like a suburb with trimmed lawns and everything or is it a more like a regular residential area? just curious what he's up to when he goes away. can't imagine there's much to explore in a suburb but cats are pretty good at making their own fun i guess

i don't think it sounds like that either, but they definitely got the look down. i miss them, even though it's only been a less than 6 months since tiki-taka but it was just so forgettable i feel like they have been gone forever
