My orthodox priest forbids me from practicing yoga because the exercises are a form of prayer/ritual/liturgy to Hindu deities, who are demons. All these yoga people are involved in demon worship. They're saluting monkey and snake demons with their contorted bodies.
I've also noticed a similar promotion of transcendental meditation.
There are all these new phone apps that purport to teach you meditation. But meditation leads to mental illness when practiced in the long term. If you spend too long in a meditative state of contemplating 'nothingness', you are at risk of experiencing depersonalization/derealization/and related panic attacks that lead to a meltdown of your psyche.
This is why you shouldn't dabble in oriental mysticism. This is why Christianity is the way. Why the church is the ark of salvation.
