i got in some trouble in my youth in california and went to some camp for troubled young men that was run by a bunch of guys that also did wildfire firefighting.
they were the most racist, sexist, vulgar men i've ever had the misfortune of spending time with. they put you guys to absolute shame. pretty much all the other kids there were gang members, some had killed already, and they were like innocent little babes compared to these men. i wish i could remember all the jokes i heard, it was just nonstop incredible racism delivered without the hint of a smile or irony lmao. i hope the firefighters are safe.
